2.2.2.1 Protective glass
Depending on the system layout, different holders will be used for the protective glass as shown
below:
Version 1:
Protective glass lies loosely in the protective glass support
Version 2: Protective glass with clamping screws
Version 3: Protective glass with grub screws
Version 4: Protective glass in ring nut

Change the protective glass as follows (Version 1):
• Pull the protective glass support out of the protective glass slide. The protective glass lies
loosely in the protective glass support.
• Remove the protective glass.
• Insert a new protective glass.

Change the protective glass as follows (Version 2):

Change the protective glass as follows (Version 3):

Change the protective glass as follows (Version 4):
• Pull the protective glass support out of the
protective glass slide.
• Use a suitable hexagon screwdriver to loosen
the clamping screws.
• Remove the protective glass.
• Insert a new protective glass.
• Securely tighten the clamping screws again.

the grub screw.
• Remove the protective glass.
• Insert a new protective glass.

• Unscrew the ring nut from the focusing optics.
• The protective glass lies loosely in the ring nut.
Remove the protective glass.
• Insert a new protective glass into the ring nut.
• Re-screw the ring nut onto the focusing optics.
