Chapter 1

Prepare the PowerFlex 70 Drive Hardware

Connect the DeviceNet Adapter to the Drive

1.

Connect the Internal Interface
cable to the DPI connector on the
drive and then to the DPI
connector on the adapter.

2.

Fold the cable behind the adapter
without creasing it and mount the
adapter on the drive by using four
captive screws.

WARNING:

Verify that all incoming power is turned off before connecting the adapter to the drive.
