SLIDE OUT OPERATION:
WARNING: Do not operate the slide out with persons or equipment in, or on it. This can overload the
motor or mechanism and cause failure or possible injury.
CAUTION: Ensure that the rear doors are fully open and the area outside the vehicle is clear of any
obstructions.
CAUTION: The slide out is not a storage shelf. Do not stack or store any equipment or materials on top of
it when it is in or out.
NOTE: The motor for the slide mechanism draws approximately 4 Amps. If the coach batteries are in a
discharged state, you may need to start and run the engine to recharge the batteries enough to move the
room.
NOTE: There is a bright Red light on the dashboard
that comes on if the room is out when the key is in the
ignition and turned on (see Picture B-P4). Do not move
the vehicle when this light is on.
EXTENDING THE SLIDE OUT ROOM:
1• Ensure that the vehicle’s transmission is in Park,
and the parking brake is fully engaged.
2• Level the vehicle, lower the spare tire carrier (if
applicable), and open the rear doors fully to the
magnetic stops that are on the chassis.
3• Press and hold the rear side of the slide out switch
located above the side entry door (See picture B-P5)
until the room stops and then release it. DO NOT
continue to hold the switch after it stops. If the room
stops only part way out, release the switch
immediately, check for and clear any obstructions, and
wait 30 seconds before trying again. There is an
automatically resetting breaker in the system to
protect the motor that needs to cool before it will reset.
