• Detach the supports from the attachment points
•

• Retract the awning using the power switch

Refer to the awning manual for proper methods of deploying and securing the awning.

Never leave your awning extended when you are away from your vehicle. Awnings are susceptible to damage from

heavy rain and wind. Stow awning when bad weather is approaching.

The awning is only powered when the ignition switch is off. To use the awning, turn off the ignition.

Step extended

Your Roadtrek is equipped with a step that automatically extends when the side door is opened for easy entry and exit out of
your vehicle. With the step switch on, the step will extend once when the door is open and remain extended even if the door
is closed. With the switch off, the step will extend and retract every time the door is opened and closed.

For safety reasons, the step will automatically retract when the ignition is turned on, even if the step switch is on.

This is to prevent damage caused by driving with the step extended.
