Rack Installation Guide

These instructions describe how to install models 250, 550, 1050, 2050, 5050, 6050, 7050, 9350; CSH-250, CSH-
1050, CHS-2050, WWA-1000, WWA-2000, models 3000, 3010, 5000, 5010, 8000, 8500; and models 3020, 3520,
5520, 6020, 6120, 9200 in a standard Telco-type rack. It includes the following sections:

All 3U systems must be mounted to a four-post rack; they cannot be mounted to a two-post rack.

Important:

For 3U xx20 models reseat all hard disks prior to powering the unit on. Reseat 3U xx20 disks anytime the

Steelhead appliance is shipped to a new location.
