8.13. It is not allowed to leave children near the boiler unattended.
8.14. The boiler plant must be equipped with fire extinguishing equipment in accordance with the standards
for firefighting appliances and equipment established by the Fire Safety Regulations for Energy Companies –
Regulatory Guide 34.03.301-87 (Fire Safety Rules 139-87).
9. Faults during the boiler’s operation and how to eliminate them
Possible Fault
Cause
Solution
The heat exchange liquid
temperature in the boiler is above
95
C, the heating devices in the
heating system are cold.
Impaired circulation of the heat
exchange liquid in the system.
Possible reasons:
- leakage of water from the
system;
- pump shutdown;
-the formation of an airlock in the
system.
Repair the leak, open the bypass
valve and repair or replace the
pump, eliminate the air plug.
The boiler does not reach to the
established capacity and fumes.
Worsened traction. Possible
reasons:
- soot deposition on chimney
walls;
- the presence of foreign objects in
the chimney;
- very fine coal (dust coal) is used;
- low-quality fuel is used;
- a large amount of ash on the
grates or in the ashpit.
- fuel stall in the bunker.
Clean the chimney, remove
foreign objects.
Replace fuel with a higher quality
one; fine fraction (dust) should not
exceed 20% of the volume of fuel.
Clean or shake the grates. Clean
ash from ashpit
Push the coal into the load bunker
with a metal bar.
10. List of products and spare parts not included into the product package (sold separately)
10.1. The manufacturer may carry out the additional delivery of the following products necessary to launch
the boiler (s) into operation
Scaffolding with ladder;
Scoop for ash;
Ashpit scraper.
10.2. Additional elements and products according to paragraph 10.1, necessary for installation and
operation of the boiler, are supplied by the manufacturer for an additional fee or can be manufactured by the
buyer himself.
10.3. At the buyer’s request, the manufacturer can provide additional supply of the following individual
parts of the boiler for their repair or replacement:
Heat exchanger;
Ashpit (complete);
Grate;
Grate shaft.
