INTRODUCTION
RITE-HITE ® ’s model APB-1000 hydraulic dock leveler provides a practical alternative to applications where “basic
automatic operating characteristics” are desired. The unit is operated by a single, remote pushbutton control box.
Lip extension is achieved through positive mechanical linkage, meaning that as the ramp raises hydraulically to full
up the lip extends mechanically. An electro-hydraulic power unit delivers hydraulic oil to a heavy duty cylinder which
includes an emergency safety system which restricts uncontrolled platform drop.
