SERVICE MAN MODE

With all DIPs on ON, the control unit switches to SERVICE MAN mode.
The DOWN/UP push-buttons must be kept pressed during operation. The opening of the STOP input
stops the motor.
The contemporary pressure of DOWN/UP stops the motor.

PRE-WARNING ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION (DIP2:ON)

Immediately  after  putting  the  DPI1  in  ON  position  the  red  led  light  DL1  indicates  the  activation  or  the
deactivation of the preflashing
Con il DIP2 è possibile attivare o disattivare la funzione prelampeggio.
The DIP 2 allows to activate or deactivate the preflashing function.
DIP2 ON: preflashing activated , the lights start flashing 5 sec. before the raising cycle starts
DIP2 OFF: preflashing deactivated.

RADIO SELF-LEARNING

The HY.CELL control unit is equipped with a built-in radio module for the fixed or roll-on code of remote
controls, with 433.92MHz frequency.
To use a remote control, it is first necessary to store its code in memory. The memorisation procedure is
described hereunder. The device is able to store up to 64 different codes in memory.
By pressing P1, the control unit enters the radio learning phase: DL1 red LED flashes 1 time per second,
awaiting the key to the matched to the DOWN function;
When the key is stored in memory, exit from the programming mode;
Pushing twice P1 the red led light DL1 flashes twice per second waiting for the assignment of the push
button to be assigned to UP function.
When the key to be matched is memorised, exit from the programming mode.
Pushing  three  times P1 , the red LED light DL1 flashes 3 times per second waiting for the assignment of
the push button to be assigned to STEP BY STEP function.
Once assigned  the push button to the relevant functions the programming is completed.
In case you don’t need to memorize any transmitter, keep the button P1 pressed until the red light DL1
start flashing again in  the way that indicates the presence of network (see diagnostics LED pag.7)
To reset the memory of the receiver, press and keep P1 and P2 keys pressed for around 10 seconds
(during this period of time, both DL1 and DL2 flash rapidly).
After 10 seconds, when the two LEDs are switched on with fixed light, release the push-buttons.
When the LEDs switch back again to the original configuration, the control unit has completed the memory
reset.

NOTE:

The transmitters are memorised on an EPROM memory (U2), which can be extracted from the control unit
and inserted in a new HY.CELL control unit should a replacement is required.
For safety reasons, the transmitters can be stored in memory during the  raising/lowering of the motor.

TRANSMITTER REMOTE LEARNING

If  the  transmitter  code  is  already  stored  in  the  receiver,  the  remote  radio  learning  can  be  carried  out
(without accessing the control unit).

IMPORTANT: The procedure should be carried out with gate in the lowering phase, during the TCA
dwell time.

Proceed as follows:
1   Press the hidden key of the transmitter, the code of which has already been stored in memory.
2   Within  5  seconds,  press  the  already  memorised  transmitter  key  corresponding  to  the  channel  to  be

matched to the new transmitter. The flashing light switches on.

3   Within 10 seconds, press the hidden key of the new transmitter.
4   Within 5 seconds, press the key of the new transmitter to be matched to the channel selected at item 2.

The flashing light switches off.

5  The receiver stores the new transmitter code and exits from the programming mode immediately.

LED DIAGNOSTICS

The red LED DL1 indicates the activation of inputs according to the legend hereunder:
STOP

on with fixed light

PHOT

rapid flashing

DOWN

1 flash with 2-second interval

UP

2 flashes with 2-second interval

DOWN+UP

3 flashes with 2-second interval

By flashing slowly, the red LED DL1 also indicates that the unit is powered.

The green LED and the output SCA (DIP 4OFF) indicate the direction of the movement of the motor and
the status of the bollard, as follows:
Lowering bollard

1 flash /1 relay switching with 1 sec. delay

Raising bollard

2 flashes/ 2 relay switching with 1 sec. delay

Bollard in lower position (without TCA)  ON with fixed light /N.C. contact
Bollard in lower position  (with TCA)

2 flashes/ 2 relay swicthing per sec.

Bollard in raised position

LED OFF/ N.O. contact

OPTIONALS

HY.TERM

Adjustable thermostat for cold places
Connect  to the control panel to  HY.TERM input as indicated (Fig. 2) . The thermostat is supplied into a
waterproof box for outdoor installation and it is equipped with 1m cable.
If the temperature drops below the set value the control panel makes the motor to keep the oil warm. We
suggest to set the HY.TERM at a temperature of -5°C.

HY.BUZZ

Acustic warning device . Connect the device  by means of the power circuit AC/DC supplied , as indicated
in Fig.3
The acustic warning device will indicate the raising of the bollard (DIP 4)
The acustic device cannot be installed outdoor , we suggest to locate it into the control panel plastic box
or into another plastic box with the same IP rate.

HY.VLL / HY.VLV

Electronic circuit for the control of the LED light  (HY.LED)  or  (HY. VA) Electrovalve for automatic lowering
in case of power failure.
Connect the circuit as indicate ( Fig.4)
The Leds indicate the status of the bollard:
During the raising cycle : fast flashing

WASTE DISPOSAL

If  the  product  must  be  dismantled,  it  must  be  disposed  according  to  regulations  in  force  regarding  the

differentiated waste disposal and the recycling of components (metals, plastics, electric cables, etc..). For

this operation it is advisable to call your installer or a specialised company.
