1.3.5 RECIRCULATION kIT FOR DOMESTIC HOT WATER (RCD-xHF)
The water heater should be installed in the immediate vicinity of the utilities that will periodically and more frequently
use hot water. The choice of this positioning allows to minimize the waiting times that are necessary to the hot water to
run the pipes (and to heat them at the first use) and reach the taps or the shower, once this is delivered by the water
heater.
It may happen that the distance between the appliance and the users is not negligible and,
as a direct consequence, that the waiting time increases a lot, increasing proportionally
also the consumption of water and especially of gas.
In such situations it is possible to adopt a simple system solution to restore the desired
comfort, adding to the sanitary system the Rinnai accessory for the management of a
recirculation ring for hot water: the Rinnai domestic recirculation kit RCD-xHF.
This accessory can be installed in combination with your water heater and allows you to
program, for time slots, the circulation of domestic hot water, making it immediate use
and much more comfortable.
This accessory is equipped with antifreeze protection, expansion tank and safety valves. It can be programmed to
manage time slots and control the temperature of its recirculation loop. In conjunction with Rinnai water heater, the
recirculation kit solves the problem of long waits and waste of water.
The main components of the accessory:
