*If a malfunction occurs, immediately turn off the operational switch and stop the motor.

The single-acting cylinder is advanced using the operational switch. When the pressure on the pressure
switch is reached, the pump motor stops, pressure is held and the cylinder maintains load until pressure
is released (by operational switch). Hold at a lower pressure than set on the pressure switch plus
intermediate cylinder stroke stop is also possible. However, once the SSL-2B valve is released the
cylinder will retract fully. It is not possible to stop cylinder retraction in any intermediate stroke position.
Example of Use: For a single-acting cylinder (spring return):
Connect the high pressure hose and cylinder as shown in the diagram.
1) Open the air valve.
2) Before operation, set the pressure switch to the required pressure.
3) Press the ON area of the hand switch to start the motor. The piston of the cylinder
will advance, pressure will rise and the operation will be performed.
4) When pressure reaches the pressure set on the pressure switch, the motor will
stop and pressure will be maintained at that level. The motor will also start again,
rebuilding pressure to the level on the pressure switch, should pressure fall
to differential pressure during the hold operation.
Pressing the OFF area of the crimp switch during operation will cause the motor
to stop but both pressure reached and the stroke extension of the cylinder will be
held at the position it has reached.
However, the motor will not start up again to maintain pressure if the system
pressure falls.
5) When operation is completed, press the push button switch to release pressure and return the piston
of the cylinder.
6) Close the air valve.
