backup A backup destination address of
ICMP check, if “destination address”

Source type Sometimes, the checked address is
not a public address, e.g a subnet of
VPN. In case of this, the subnet
address should be the source
address of PING, and then the host
machine of the subbet can be linked

addess of PING. Please be
noted if both modules are
on line, usually source
address policy routing shall
be added when modem
interface is chosen as
source address.
Source IP When souce type chooses “custom”,
Source IP must be IP address of an
interface of the router. This case is
usually used if an interface cannot
be chosen in checking TUNNEL. Interface type A.B.C.D,see
Failed interval This is a special checking method of
our company in ICMP checking. If
link is normal, normal interval is
used in ICMP check. If abnormal,
failed interval is used to check the
failed link quickly. Usually failed
interval is suggested 3-5s.
