Print a configuration page to con-
firm that the duplex unit is prop-
erly installed.

If the duplex unit is properly in-
stalled, you can see “:Dx.x” at
the end of the Firmware Version
section of the configuration
page.

If the duplex unit does not
work, follow the above proce-
dure to reinstall it. If it still does
not work, contact your sales or
service representative.

To make the printer recognize
the installed option properly,
you must set up the option with
the printer driver.
