- pumping water or any other liquid having a temperature above 35°C.
- pumping of explosive, flammable or dangerous liquids.
- pumping water intended for human consumption or food liquids.
NOTE:
- This pump is not intended for cleaning and other pool maintenance operations.
- The pump must not be used in outdoor fountains, garden ponds and similar places.
- The pump is not designed for industrial and / or commercial applications (eg, filling station...).
5.2- Operation
a. If using flexible tubing, attach the ends of the tubing to the tanks. In the presence of an appropriate slot,
solidly grasp the delivery tube before beginning dispensing,
b. Before starting the pump make sure that the delivery valve is closed (dispensing nozzle or line valve).
c. Turn the ON/OFF switch on. The by-pass valve allows functioning with delivery closed only for brief
periods.
d. Open the delivery valve, solidly grasping the end of the tubing.
e. Close the delivery valve to stop dispensing.
f. When dispensing is finished, turn off the pump.
ATTENTION! Functioning with the delivery closed is only allowed for brief periods (2 / 3 minutes
maximum). After use: make sure the pump is turned off.
5.3- Advise for users
IMPORTANT!
- Do not operate the pump without liquid in the pump body: extended operation of the pump when the
discharge valve is closed, can seriously damage the pump.
- In case of prolonged non-use, ensure to switch off the power, and remove plug from socket.
5.4- Lack of Electric power
In case of power failure, it is best to unplug the pump from the power outlet.
A lack of electric power, with the consequent accidental stopping of the pump, can be caused by:
- a safety device tripping
- a drop in line voltage
In either case, proceed as follows:
- Close the delivery valve,
- Attach the end of the delivery to the slot provided on the tank (if available);
- Turn the switch to the OFF position;
- After determining the cause of the stoppage and reconnecting the electric power, then resume pump
operation as described in “5.2- Operation”
