2. DESCRIPTION AND PROPERTIES OF THE MACHINE
RHODE-UVC sterilizers are designed for the decontamination of rooms based on the use of UV-C ultraviolet
radiation. RHODE UV-C single-function flow devices are based on an internal ventilation system. The air sucked into
the sterilizer chamber passes through the filter located close to the inlet. Here, larger particles are blocked to prevent
contamination of the germicidal lamp reflectors. Then the air is passed directly through a low-pressure mercury lamp,
which, thanks to UV-C rays with a precisely emitted wave length of 253.7 nm, destroys all microorganisms.
Returning disinfected and purified air is released through the end nozzle, which completes the process of effective
cleaning.
The design of the single-function sterilizer does not cause a threat to people staying in the room during
operation.
The dual function sterilizer allows the use of independent room lighting by switching on external UV-C
radiators. In such a situation it is forbidden for people and animals to stay in the sterilized room
.
The device guarantees continuous air sterilization with a capacity of up to 60 m³ / h.
This device can be used only inside buildings, in the temperature range from 5 to 40 ° C [41 to 104 ° F] and humidity
25 to 75%.
A voltage tolerance of up to 10% of the nominal value is allowed.
