Fault Finding Tests 11 ~ 13
Test 11
Isolate water supply to heater to prevent heater from operating.
Remove battery from temperature controller and using a multimeter set on the DC
voltage scale, measure between the two terminals on the battery. The following result
should be obtained:
≥ 3.1 VDC.
Test 12
Using a multimeter set on the DC voltage scale, measure between wiring pin 1 (black
wire) and wiring pin 2 (red wire) on the temperature controller 4 pin plug. The following
result should be obtained
when water flow through the heater is > 3 L/m
:
1.1 ~ 1.7 VDC.
Test 13
Using a multimeter set on the DC voltage scale, measure between wiring pin 8 (orange
wire) on the temperature controller 16 pin plug and the black earth wire on the gas valve
body. The following result should be obtained
when water flow through the heater is >
3 L/m
:
1.1 ~ 3.7 VDC.
