Installation of the Grounding Kit

RFS recommended that hybrid cable be grounded regardless of size. Recommended 3 Kits per run up to 200ft
plus 1 for every additional 200ft. Although the HYBRIFLEX jacket

removal tool (HTPT’s series) can be used, to avoid ripping off too

much jacket the J-Strip is recommended.

To avoid any corrosion problems, the contact element of the
grounding kit is tin plated copper. The tin plating allows
compatibility with both aluminum and copper conductors.

Because of electrochemical potential differences between
copper and aluminum do not use the grounding kits, which are
designed only for copper cables!

Do not

used copper grounding on cable with aluminum outer.
