ILLUSTRATED PARTS MANUAL:
FLOWLINE COMB & WIRE
BINDER RANGE

SECTION 6 – COMB OPENING SPINDLE ASSEMBLY

ALL COMB BINDERS

Removal :-

1.

 

Carry out previous sections where applicable.

2.

 

Remove spring clips from comb opening knob(s) and pull knob(s) from spindle. Remove two small
springs from knob/side frame housing.

1.

 

Prise off two e-clips from spindle adjacent to gears.

2.

 

Slide spindle out of gears.

3.

 

Remove gears from side frames.

4.

 

Remove shim washer from side frame spring housing.

Replacement :-

1.

 

Locate gears into side frames.

2.

 

Slide spindle through gears and fit two e-clips into grooves in spindle adjacent to gears.

3.

 

Fit shim washer into spring housing in side frame.

4.

 

Fit two small springs into slots in comb opening knob.

5.

 

Push knob(s) onto ends of spindle and locate springs into spring housing in right hand side frame.

6.

 

Align slot in knob(s) with groove in spindle and fit wire spring clips into grooves to secure knob(s)
to spindle.
