ILLUSTRATED PARTS MANUAL:
FLOWLINE COMB & WIRE
BINDER RANGE

SECTION 4 – INFILL PANEL ASSEMBLIES (INC LED PCB)

ALL MODELS

Removal :-

1.

 

Carry out previous sections where applicable.

2.

 

Unscrew four torx head screws holding infill panel to side frames.

3.

 

Lift off infill panel assembly together with comb opening mechanism where applicable.

4.

 

Turn infill panel over and unscrew 2 off torx head screws which hold LED PCB to the infill panel.
Lift off LED PCB which is attached to machine by ribbon cable. Note operating button, operating
button spring and insulator collar are loose in recess in infill panel.

Replacement :-

1.

 

Apply double sided sticky tape to front face of die support block.

2.

 

Ensure that ribbon cable is routed from hole in motor support bracket and over clipping tray
protrusions in side frame. Stick ribbon cable along face of die support block to which tape was
applied.

3.

 

Lay infill panel assembly upside down on top of machine.

4.

 

Drop the operating button into the recess in infill panel. Then drop spring on top of button. Then
locate the insulating collar on top of the spring.

5.

 

Orientate the LED PCB so that the red LED is adjacent to the document measurer and locate onto
the pegs on the infill panel. Fasten PCB in position using 2 off washers and 2 off torx screws.

6.

 

Turn infill panel assembly over being careful to avoid pulling the ribbon cable off of the die support
block.

7.

 

Locate infill panel assembly together with comb opening mechanism, where applicable, onto four
screw bosses on top of side frames. Operate comb opening knob and check that comb opening
fingers operate parallel. Check that side margin thumb wheel is free to rotate in slot.

8.

 

Replace four torx head screws holding infill panel to side frames.
