APPLICATION
The Ruby Shower in Bed is designed to shower individuals who are confined to bed.
The shower trolley should be operated only by those qualified to do so and who have read the instruction manual.
The Ruby Shower in Bed must only be used to wash individuals.
The Ruby Shower in Bed is designed for use in conjunction with the shower sheet.
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility should the product be used, changed or assembled differently than defined
in this manual.
OPERATION
The fresh water tank is filled manually.
An element is used to heat the water.
The temperature controller is used to control and maintain the set temperature.
The max temperature cannot exceed the factory setting of 41
°
.
A red warning light illuminates if the fresh water tank temperature is 2
°
higher than the set temperature.
The on/off button starts and stops the heating of the water.
A water reserve keeps the element immersed.
Water heating time depends upon the set temperature and the temperature of the water inside the tank.
Water is pumped from the tank to the handheld shower.
Flow intensity is adjusted via a valve on the handheld shower.
A flexible hose connected to the shower sheet drains the waste water into a separate waste water tank.
The tanks are set at a height compatible with regular lavatories for convenient tank drainage – they are also designed to
drain dry after use.
Both the drainage and shower pumps may be used simultaneously.
Disinfectant is added via a front access panel.
