1.4 Installing the Batteries
1. Remove the battery compartment door.
2. Insert 3 ×AAA batteries(Not included) for each radio.
3. Position the batteries correctly, especially the positive
and the negative.4. Replace the battery cover.
5. Close the screw with a screwdriver.
Note: Children under Age of 12 should open the screws
under their supervision
2. How to use your Walki e Talkies:
2.1 Turning ON/OFF
Press and hold on the for 3 seconds to turn it on/off, then
you will hear a beep sound.
2.2 Selecting a Channel
In order to speak to someone, all your radios must be set to
the same channel.
Switch to press the button”CH”, the “L1” or “L2” will flash.
If “L1” flash, it is in Channel 1,
If “L2” flash, it is in Channel 2,
If “L1” and “L2” both flash, then it is in Channel 3.
Note: No further pressing within 6 seconds,It will reset to
STANDBY mode.
2.3 Talking and Listening:
If you press and hold on the button “PTT/CALL” , It is
Talking. Release the “PTT/CALL” button when you have
finished transmitting. For the other one,If a signal is
received, It is Listening.
For maximum clarity, hold the radio one inch away from
your mouth and speak directly into the microphone. Do not
cover the microphone while talking.
Note:
1. Do not use the radios closer than five feet apart.
2. The talking range could reach up to 4km, which is
calculated based on an unobstructed line of sight test under
optimum conditions. However, actual range will vary
depending on terrain and conditions,and is often less than
the maximum possible.
