Flashing Display
The numerical displays will flash once each second if the 920
determines that a battery low condition exists. Replace all six
batteries immediately.
NOTE:
Inaccurate SpO
2
and/or pulse rate
measurement may result if the 920 is operated
in a low battery condition.
5. Dash in the SpO
2
Display
If the 920 determines that a sensor fault exists (sensor disconnect,
sensor failure, or sensor dislodgment), a dash (
-
) appears in the
left-most digit of the SpO
2
display. The readings that are being
displayed will remain unchanged while the sensor fault exists. If the
sensor fault is not corrected, dashes will be displayed 10 seconds
after the minus sign appears.
