1. Remove any outer clothing, footwear* and
personal effects which may cause damage to
the suit (e.g. pens, badges, jewellery, etc.). Note:
Suits that are supplied with integral socks and
outer legs (splash guards) are not designed to
have footwear worn internally. *There is no need to
remove footwear when wearing a suit that features
integral socks with reinforced non-slip soles and
ankle ties. In this case your safety footwear is
worn inside the suit.
2. Fully open the suit zipper.
3. Open the neck seal fully by loosening the
drawstring provided.
4. Whilst seated, place both legs into the suit and
slide your feet down the legs and into the integral
socks or through the elasticated ankles (Fig. 3).

Fitting gloves into the optional
Respirex ‘O’ ring cuff
If you have a suit with an ‘O’ ring style cuff, simply
stretch the safety glove over the cuff body so that it sits
approximately 2-3 cms inside the glove. Then stretch the
sleeve ‘O’ ring over the cuff body; the ‘O’ ring should
locate in the groove running around the cuff body (Fig.1).

Donning procedure
Note: Before beginning the donning process, ensure
that the Flo-Pod™ turbo unit has been correctly fitted to
the Flo-Pod™ suit following the instructions supplied.
Check that a P3 filter canister is screwed firmly
into the Flo-Pod™ turbo unit (Fig.2).Suit wearers
should familiarise themselves thoroughly with the user
information supplied with the Flo-Pod™ turbo unit.
It is recommended that before using a Flo-Pod™
system for the first time wearers are given training by
a competent person, and that details of the training
are recorded. For reasons of simplicity and safety it is
advisable to have an assistant to help with the donning
and doffing procedure
