WARNINGS
Spillage of boiling
liquid with molten
sugar on the glass
ceramic surface
Any such spills must be removed
immediately with a fish filleting knife,
spatula or scraper suitable for use
on glass ceramic hobs, using all the
necessary caution when the cooking
zones are still hot:
• Remove stains caused by molten
and sugary foods or burnt food
residues as soon as possible. If
such residues are allowed to cool
on the glass ceramic hob they will
be difficult to remove or may cause
permanent damage to the glass
ceramic surface.
1. Disconnect the hob power supply
by unplugging the plug from the
electrical socket.
• Cutting hazard: scraper blades can
be razor sharp; fit the blade guard or
store scrapers in a safe place out of
reach of children.
2. Scrape away food residues and
spatters of burnt food in the cool
area of the hob.
3. Remove food spills, spatters or
burnt food with a dishcloth or tea
towel.
4. Perform steps from 2 to 4 for
"Daily grime on the glass ceramic
hob”.
Spatters/liquids/burnt
food residues on the
touch control buttons
1. Switch off the hob power supply.
• The hob may emit an acoustic
signal and then switch off; the touch
control buttons may not operate if
they are wet. Make sure the touch
controls area is dry before switching
the hob on again.
2. Mop up spatters/liquids/residues
with a wet cloth.
3. Clean the touch control buttons
area with a clean damp sponge or
cloth
4. Dry the area completely with a tea
towel.
5. Switch on the hob power supply.
