4.5 Checking the residual current device

The DC monitor integrated in the POWER2CAR FUEL has a test button for checking the residual cur-
rent device. When pressed, a 6 mA DC residual current is generated. The DC monitor then generates
an AC residual current which triggers the residual current circuit breaker in the house distribution sys-
tem.
This function must be checked when the unit is put into operation and later once a year.
