Do not attach this connection to continuous current since this could empty the on-board battery
during prolonged vehicle standstill times.
• If you have connected a rear view camera to the V2 RCA jack, connect the green line REVERSING WIRE
to a terminal which only carries voltage when the reverse gear is engaged.
This control automatically switches the video input to input V2 (signal of the rear-view camera)
when the reverse gear is engaged. For instance it can only be connected to the line of a revers-
ing light.
• If you only want to temporarily connect a playback device to the monitor connect the AV output of this with
the adapter line attached (yellow = video, red = audio).
• Then insert the jack plug of the adapter cable into the connection socket below right on the front of the
monitor.
The V1 cinch connection is deactivated as long as the adapter cable is plugged in.

Maintenance and cleaning
Only use a slightly damp cloth to clean the monitor. Never use any solvent which could damage the housing
surfaces.
Do not exert any strong downward pressure on the sensitive display surfaces.
Replacing the fuse
If changing the fuse is required, make sure to only use fuses of specified type and rated current (see Techni
-
cal data).
Flicking the fuses or bridging the fuse holder is not permitted.
• Disconnect the monitor from the power supply.
• Screw on the fuse holder in the red access line.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Reseal the battery fuse holder.
• Only reconnect the monitor to the on-board power supply and operate afterwards.
• If the fuse is triggered again bring the device to repairs in a specialist workshop.
Disposal

b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batter-
ies. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are identified with the accompanying symbol, which
indicates the ban on disposal in the household waste. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead(designation on the batteries e.g. under the
refuse bin symbol depicted on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
