d) Media-center “UPnP”
The device supports “UPnP” (“Universal Plug and Play”). This enables you to stream music from your
network. However, it requires that your network contains a compatible device that works as a server. This
may be, e.g., a network hard disc with UPnP server or a conventional PC with, e.g., Windows® 8, on which
access to the public folders or media sharing is permitted.
Switching to the Media Center
• To switch to the Media Center, scroll through the main menu to the left or right with one of the two arrow
buttons

, until “Media Center” is shown in the middle of the display. Then push the button

(OK) again to open the function.
• Alternatively, you can push the button “MODE”

until the operating mode “UPNP” is displayed.
Playback from a device in the network:
• After you have opened the Media-Center, the item “UPnP” usually has already been selected. Simply
push the button

to open “UPnP”.
• The internet radio will automatically scan for compatible devices in the network and display them in a
list. If the device desired by you is not displayed in the list, go one step back again (

) and open the item
again.
• Now use the

dial to select a network unit and confirm by pushing the button

• Now the server menu is displayed. The folders and groups that are displayed depend on the server.
Navigate through the structure and start playback of the desired title.
• Here, you are able to influence playback with the three bottom buttons on the remote control.

Leaving the operating mode “Media Center”
