o) Demo mode
The “DEMO“ (21) button will play back a demo song saved in the
device that displays the options of the device.
Playback is ended by pushing the “DEMO“ (21) button again; alter-
natively, you can push the “PLAY/STOP“ (18) button.
p) Reverberation effect
The “REVERB“ (19) button sets the reverberation effect when play-
ing back the drum sounds in 4 levels (r-0...r-3).
The setting “r-0“ means that the reverberation effect is off.
q) Recording
Preparations
Set the desired song, a drum set, the speed of the song, etc.
Start Recording
Push the “REC“ (5) button. The LED in the button flashes to display
that the recording function is ready.
To start recording, either briefly push the “START/STOP“ (13) but-
ton, or tap one of the pads.
Now the song selected at first is played back. All pad touches are
now recorded.
The metronome is started automatically (speech output,
e.g. “One - Two - Three - Four“) for the respective time),
but can be switched to a sound signal with the “CLICK“
(6) button.
Pushing the button again will switch the metronome off,
see chapter 12. m).
The metronome sound is not recorded.
End recording
Push the “REC“ (5) or the “START/STOP“(13) button. The LED in the
“REC“ button goes out. The recording is ended.
If “FL“ appears in the display during a recording, the recording me-
mory is full and the recording is terminated automatically.
The recording will be lost if you switch off the drum kit
during a recording.
