• Press the or button to set the date. Press and hold the or button to quickly scroll
through the numbers.
• When pressing and holding the or button for approx. 10 seconds you enter the month
setting mode. Keep the or button depressed to count the months up or down fast. This
provides an easy way to adjust the year. The year cannot be set directly and is adjusted
based on month.

scroll through the numbers.
• When pressing and holding the or button for approx. 10 seconds you enter the hour
setting mode. Keep the or button depressed and the hours will count up or down fast.
This provides an easy way to adjust the hours quickly.

button down and release it fully to enable the alarm. The alarm
icon “ ” and the alarm time are displayed.
• To disable the alarm, press the
Alarm on/off
button (5) until it clicks and only pops back up
halfway so that it is flush with the top of the clock.
• When the alarm turns on the alarm icon “ ” blinks and beep sounds are emitted in the
following sequence: {beep}, {beep-beep}, {beep-beep-beep}, {beep-beep-beep-...}

Snooze/turn alarm off
• When the alarm is triggered, press the
Snooze / Light
button (4) or
Snooze / Light
button (3) to snooze the alarm for 5 minutes.
• The snooze icon “ ” will blink when the snooze function is activated. The alarm will be
triggered again after 5 minutes. The alarm can be snoozed for a maximum of 7 times.

To turn the alarm off, press the
Alarm on/off
button down and release. If you do not
manually turn off the alarm or activate the snooze function, it will automatically stop after
2 minutes.
f) Change the weekday language
• Press and hold the button for at least 3 seconds to scroll through the following 7
language options:
- “DE” (German), “FR” (French), “IT” (Italian), “SP” (Spanish), “DU” (Dutch),
“SW” (Swedish) and “EN” (English)
• Release the
button to confirm your setting.
g) Set the foreign time-zone
• To set the time for a foreign time-zone, press and hold the button for approx. 3 seconds
until the foreign time-zone icon “ ” appears on the display.

h) Change the time display
• To toggle between the 12 and 24-hour clock display, press the button repeatedly. Times
after 12:00 noon are indicated by “PM”.
• To toggle between the time with seconds and the time with the weekday display, press
the button repeatedly.
• To select the local time or foreign time-zone, press and hold the button for approx.
3 seconds. When disabling the foreign time-zone the foreign time-zone icon “ ”
disappears.

To briefly view the date when the alarm time is displayed, gently press the
Alarm on/off
button down until it is flush with the top of the clock and release to return to the alarm
display.
i) Turn the backlight on
• Press the or button to turn the backlight on for approx. 5 seconds.
j) Daylight saving time
• If the DCF radio signal contains the information for daylight saving time, the display will
show “ ”.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Apart from replacing the battery, the device requires no maintenance.
• Do not let liquid enter the interior of the product.
• Clean the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth or a small brush.
• Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemicals solutions as they could damage the
surface of the case.
• Do not press on the sensitive LC-Display surface.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately
from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate
that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy
metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on
(rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
