Defrosting operation
In heating mode, condensate forms on the finned heat exchanger and this can freeze under certain conditions
and thus have an insulating effect. Because this can significantly impair the operation of the unit, the system
can switch to defrosting mode if required. The symbol for defrosting
is shown on the system display during
the defrosting process. Once the defrosting process has ended, the symbol disappears and the system carries on
with normal operation.
