These UV lamps emit large amounts of UV-A radiation that can damage unprotected eyes and skin. Please use
caution when performing inspections with these lamps.
Always wear polycarbonate safety glasses and never look directly into the lamp.
Wear gloves and protective clothing to avoid direct exposure to skin.
Do not place the lamp face down while the UV LED is on, this will lead to heat buildup and damage
the LED as well as the surface in which it is set upon.
Lithium-ion batteries can explode, catch fire, and cause burns if disassembled, punctured, cut,
crushed, short-circuited, incinerated or exposed to water, fire or high temperatures.
Magnum & Magnum-GO:
1.
Plug the female end of the DC power extension cord into the male end of the DC power supply. Turn
locking collar counter clockwise until very snug.
2.
Plug the male end of the DC power extension cord into the female socket located in the back of the
lamp. Turn the locking collar counter clockwise until very snug as seen in figure 1 below.
3.
Plug in the AC power adapter into a 120 VAC outlet.
4.
Use the switch at the rear of the light to turn the lamp on and off. The blue ring on switch will be off
when UV lamp is illuminated, and lit when lamp in powered down. If equipped with a white light
(GO version) the left hand switch will operate the white LED lamp. If both switches are depressed
both lamps will be lit at a reduced intensity.
Important Note: A loose locking collar can cause play in the barrel connector which will allow inner pins of the
female socket to close. This will cause a bad connection and the light will go out. This problem can be fixed by
carefully spreading the pins with a small screwdriver to maintain a 2mm gap.
