Picking up dry substances
The appliance is equipped with a pre-installed filter element for picking up dry substances.
Picking up liquids
1. Open the retaining clamps (see chapter 3.3) and remove the upper section of the unit.
2. Turn the fine dust filter element anticlockwise and remove it. Fit the cyclone insert for
picking up liquids and turn it clockwise (see detail 6) to secure it.
3. Remove the filter bag (see chapter 4.2).
Emptying the dirt tank
1. Open the retaining clamps (see chapter 3.3) and remove the upper section of the suction
unit.
2. Tip out the collected dirt (see detail 7) and dispose of the dirt in accordance with legal
regulations.
3. Clean the rim of the tank and the seals in the intermediate ring and the upper section of
the suction (see detail 8) before refitting them. If the seal or groove is dirty or damaged,
the suction performance will be reduced. Close the retaining clamps.
