Insert retaining clip through adjustment pin.

Check the davit assembly for ease of rotation.
N.B. The adjustment channel may be colour
coded. If the davit is being used with a
PORTA
-
BASE mobile socket the pin must be inserted
within the yellow zone which gives a maximum
operating radius of 1000mm. If used with fixed
sockets any adjustment position can be used
giving up to 1200mm radius.

Attach chain block to the shackles.
6.
Supporting the weight of the jib with the shoulder,
select required operating radius and attach tension
strap to adjust channel with the adjustment pin.
