1.  The  instrument 
does not work 

a) The current is not input 

Check  up on the plug receptacle  to see 
whether the hot line and neutral line are 
in  good  condition  or  not,  whether  the 
power  is  on  or  not,  and  whether  the 
voltage is normal or not. 

b) Broken safety wire(s) 

Change  the  safety  wire  10A  in  the 
power panel. 

c)  The  problem(s)  about  the 
switch of the current 

Change the identical type of switches. 

2. The conveyer belt 
does not work 

a)  The  conveyer  belt  is  too 
loose 

Fasten  the  belt  appropriately  and  stop 
fastening when it works. 

b) The triangle conveyer belt 
loosens   

Adjust it appropriately or change a new 
one. 

c)  The  inscribed  wire  of  the 
current panel loosens 

Check up and connect the wire. 

d)  The  electric  relay  is 
injured. 

Check  up  on  the  wiring  of  the  plug 
receptacle or change a new one. 

e) The button is injured. 

Check  up  on  the  button  of  “START”, 
and change a new one if required. 

3. The conveyer belt 
stops 

or 

reverse 

upon  pressing  the 
button of “START” 

a)  Iron  fragments  and  other 
contaminants  adhere  to  the 
conveyer 

belt 

and 

the 

detection devices 

a)

 

Clean  both  sides  of  the 
conveyer 

belts 

and 

the 

detection devices;

Change the belt if necessary. 

b)  There  exists  interference 
around the instrument

Eliminate the interference or be far

Change the location of operation of

Place  the  instrument  horizontally  and 
fix the boy-bolts. 

d)  The  level  of  sensitiveness 
is adjusted too high. 

Adjust the button to “5-7”. Note: If it is 
adjusted lower than “4”, it will decrease 
the  detection  capability  towards  the 
trivial needle tips.     

e)  The  drum  bearing  bears 
magnetism 

Change  a  new  bearing  that  is 
demagnetized 

and 

imported 

from 

abroad. 

4.  Trivial  iron  tips 
are undetected   

a)  They  are  smaller  than  the 
standard 

set 

by 

the 

instrument 

Adjust the level of sensitiveness higher 
appropriately. 

b) The  button  of the level  of 
sensitiveness is too low. 

Adjust the level of sensitiveness higher 
appropriately. 

c)  There  exists  strong  of 
electro-magnetism 
interference 

Eliminate  the  interference.  Shift  the 
phase. Connect the earth wire or change 
the location 

5. The conveyer belt 
can 

not 

work 

properly 

a)  The  conveyer  belt  is 
deviated. 

If the belt is deviated to the right, fasten 
the screws on the side of the instrument 
that has no electric motor or loosen the 
screws  on  the  left.  Minute  adjustment 
for  only  half  circle.  If  it  still  could  not 
return  to  the  center,  adjust  the  belt  for 
half  more  circle  in  accordance  to  the 
direction of the belt.     

The  conveyer  belt  is  edge  Adjust the conveyer belt.
