Q1: How can I call Skype contacts in public phonebook or my private
phonebook?
A: It is the same method to call Skype contacts in public or private phonebook
and the dialing method depends on which dialing rules is chosen in
“Dialing rule and limit”
of SkyGWO system tray icon.
Company‟s PBX extension lines which are connected with SkyGWO had
better have the group hunting function. For example: SkyGWO 4 FXO ports
are connected to PBX extensions 100~103 and the extension number
100~103 are grouped. When employee dials extension 100 and extension
100 is busy, the call will be forwarded to the free extension between
extensions 101 to 103. So employee can always dial one extension number
(for example 100) to get a free line for Skype calls. Below are dialing
procedure based on above example.
Step 1: Check with MIS about system
‟s dialing rule setting
Step 2: Make sure public or private phonebook for contacts is set
Step 3
: Press”100” key from office desktop phone to hunt a free Skype line
and then hear an IVR.
