After user dials one company Skype account and hears IVR, user can dial
extension number according to IVR instruction. System default allows user to
dial speed dial +

+ extension number directly. Or user can dial speed dial +
extension number directly(without dialing

between), but user needs to
assign Speed dial number digits from the GUI. For other Skype speed dial
number which doesn
‟t need a short dial (speed dial + extension), there is no
limit for speed dial number setting.
Choosing Speed dial + EXTention number, user needs to pay special
attentions to speed dial setting if SkypeOut call is also allowed. In case,
the combination of speed dial number plus extension number happens
to be the same as one SkypeOut number. When such SkypeOut number
is dialed out, system will treat this call as the matching speed dial +
extension number instead of one SkypeOut number and dial out
incorrectly. In a brief, speed dial plus extension number needs to be
avoided to be the same as one possible SkypeOut number such as
landline number(area code(W or W/O) + phone number) or international
number (00+ country code + area code + phone number).

Extension number dialing for Skype incoming calls
Under Skype 8.x, SkyGWO version later than 5.0.0.10 can support
incoming Skype callers to dial extension via sending Skype chats.
There is no dial pad support for extension dialing during a Skype to
Skype call.
User needs to enable
“ Extension number dialing for Skype incoming
calls”. (Enabling this function might cause Skype gateway system with low
CPU suffering bad usage experience. Please enable when you need it. You
can enable this function from SkyGWO system tray “Dialing rule and usage
limit” whenever you need it.

