This diagram shows all allowable combinations of vertical runs with horizontal terminations,
using one 45
o
and one 90
o
elbow
(two 45
o
elbows equal
one 90
o
elbow).
Note: Must use optional flue adapter (Part # 510-994) when using Simpson Dura-Vent pipe. (Refer to page 13.)
• Maintain clearances to combustibles.
• Horizontal flue must be supported every 3 feet.
• Firestops are required at each floor level and whenever passing through a wall.
A flue guard should be used whenever
the termination is lower than the specified
minimum or as per local codes.
Note: Regency Direct Flue System (Flex) is
only approved for horizontal termina-
tions.

If using any Cabinet Mantels with
Part # 510956, 510958, 510962,
510964 and 510834 the wall thimble
must be secured first and flueing
must be attached to unit before
sliding into final position.
Also Simpson Dura-Flue flueing can
-
not be used with any of the mantels
noted above.
