CONVERSION KIT FROM NG TO LP/ULPG
FOR GF1500LST USING SIT 845 NOVA GAS VALVE

PRIOR TO CONVERSION, ENSURE UNIT HAS COOLED TO ROOM
TEMPERATURE, ALL POWER IS DISCONNECTED AND GAS
SUPPLY IS TURNED OFF.
1. Remove faceplate, inner frame, glass door, front trim piece- see
instructions in this manual.
2 . Remove logs.
3. Remove burner side panels by lifting out as shown in Diagram 1.
4. Remove Inner panels.

THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER
IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

6. Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot orifi ce (see below).
7. Unscrew the pilot orifi ce with the Allen key and replace with the LP/
ULPG pilot orifi ce in the kit and replace pilot cap (see right).
8. Remove burner orifi ce with a 12mm spanner and discard. Use an-
other spanner to hold on to the elbow below the orifi ce.
IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO CONVERT THE APPLIANCE PRIOR
TO THE UNIT BEING INSTALLED OR WALL FACING MATERIAL
FITTED— THIS WILL ALLOW ACCESS TO THE BOTTOM PANEL.

5. Remove burner by removing 2 screws in locations shown below in
Diagram 2—slide burner to the left and lift out.
