Introduction and features
The ultra-high-efficiency ECM has become the preferred motor for use in
energy-saving HVAC systems. Evergreen CM is made with the same field-
proven, high-efficiency ECM technology that has been used for more than 20
years in new HVAC equipment. It features flexible control methods to help the
installer balance airflow in HVAC systems such as VAV (Variable Air Volume)
boxes and Packaged HVAC systems. The Evergreen CM is designed as a direct
replacement for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Genteq model X13
(Constant Torque ECM) or as a field replacement for existing PSC (Permenant
Split Capacitor) motors.

This installation/service manual enables a qualified technician to install, service,
repair and maintain the Evergreen CM motor. This manual is to be left near the
HVAC system for future reference.
