BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM-COMPONENT BREAKER DESCRIPTION
DASH MAIN-
protects dash operation switch func-
tions, hardtop control panel, and engine hatch panel. In
addition, it controls components located on the helm
breaker sub-panel located in the main stateroom elec-
tronics locker. See the illustration for more information.
Volvo engine functions are not controlled by the dash
main breaker.
CABIN MAIN-
protects the cabin main DC panel
which controls direct current switch functions through-
out the vessel.
ELECTRONICS-
protects all electronic dash equip-
ment components along with the Fusion stereo compo-
nents. In addition, this breaker controls all breakers from
the electronic through the sirius weather on the helm
breaker panel located at the main stateroom electronics
locker. See the illustration for further information.
ACCESSORY (ACC)-
protects any add-on equipment
components. If adding components ensure that the am-
perage does not exceed the safe limits of the breaker.
TENDER WINCH-
protects the power winch in the
dinghy garage (option).
TENDER LIFT-
protects the dinghy lift inside the aft
garage.
GANGWAY-
designed for typical Euro-gangway. This
breaker is currently not in use.
CHARGER-
These 3 breakers protect two 50 amp bat-
tery chargers and their 3 battery circuits.
WINDLASS-
protects the deck mounted anchor wind-
lass circuitry. Notice this is a double pole breaker at 150
amps mainly because of the high current draw required
by the motor to retrieve the anchor and the length of the
windlass wire runs.
CABLE MASTER-
protects the shore power hose
reel.
OIL CHANGER-
protects the engine and generator oil
changer pump circuitry located in the bilge.
HATCH LIFT-
protects the aft engine hatch circuitry.
FWD. BILGE PUMP-
protects the forward most bilge
pump.
MID BILGE PUMP-
protects the middle bilge pump
circuitry.
AFT BILGE PUMP-
protects the aft bilge pump lo-
cated in the engine room under the center diamond plate
fl
oor section between the engines.
HIGH WATER ALARM-
protects the bilge high wa-
ter alarm. This audible alarm sounds at the dash should
bilge water reaches a predetermined level. Normally this
would indicate large volumes of water are entering the
bilge since normal amounts would be drawn overboard
via the bilge pump system.
STEREO MEMORY-
protects the stereo system mem-
ory circuit and the stereo unit itself.
SHOWER PUMP 1-
protects the aft shower sump
pump circuitry.
SHOWER PUMP 2-
protects the mid shower sump
pump (located under salon
fl
oor) circuitry. Also, this
shower sump box is used to capture and evacuate the
forward and aft air conditioning pan water.
FWD. SHOWER PUMP 3-
protects the forward show-
er sump pump (located under the galley) circuitry.
