Cleaning
Caution!
Before cleaning, ensure that there is no pressure or vacuum in the
device. To do this, open the pressure relief valve to allow pressure or
vacuum to escape.
Note
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the REF-
CLASS GAUGE.
Note
Do not allow any electrical connections to come into contact with
moisture ‒ risk of short-circuit.
Clean the outside of the REF-CLASS GAUGE regularly with a soft damp cloth and a
mild cleaning agent when necessary. Dry the REF-CLASS GAUGE completely after
every cleaning.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible cause
Pressure or vacuum
cannot be generated or
does not remain stable.
- Seals are not fitted properly or do not fit.
- Adapters for the pressure connector are not properly
tightened.
- Relief valve is not closed.
- Changeover valve is not clearly set.
The display of the REF-
CLASS GAUGE shows
nothing or only
meaningless symbols or
does not react when a
button is pressed.
- Battery is empty.
- Power supply operation: incorrect voltage/polarity.
- System error -> Switch off device, wait briefly, switch
on again.
- REF-CLASS GAUGE defect -> Send device in for
repair.
The precision digital
manometer displays OL or
-OL.
- The measurement range is exceeded or not reached.
Check whether the pressure is within the permissible
measurement range of the sensor.
The REF-CLASS GAUGE
cannot be set to 0.
- When the ZERO button is activated, the actual
pressure is set to "0". Maximum 5% of the
measurement range can be corrected in this way. For
larger corrections, use the Tare function.
