Maintenance
Repairs are to be performed only by authorized dealers. Before connecting the
reference device and the test specimen, the seals at both connections must be
checked for proper fit and wear and tear and replaced if necessary. A maintenance kit
consisting of O rings and seals is available as an accessory. The manual test pump
may not be dirty and in particular may not come into contact with damp, wet, or
aggressive media.
Calibration
The REF-CLASS GAUGE is delivered ex works with an inspection certificate for
calibration 3.1 according to EN 10204. We recommend calibrating the REF-CLASS
GAUGE once a year.

Changing the battery
- Switch off the REF-CLASS GAUGE and lay it on its front side.
- Pull the rubber protective cap over the back side of the precision
digital manometer until the battery cover is freely accessible (see
image at the right).
- Loosen the screws on the battery cover (see image at bottom right).
- Remove the battery cover and take the empty batteries out of the
battery compartment.
- Ensure proper polarity when inserting the new AA batteries.
- Replace the battery cover.
- Tighten the screws of the battery cover, starting with the top screw.
- Put the rubber protective cap back on the precision digital
manometer.
