14. Disposal
a) General Information
Electronic devices must not be disposed of in the domestic waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries.
Do not dispose of used batteries in the domestic waste!
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the following
symbols, which point out that disposal in the domestic waste is prohibited. The designations for the
relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (name on battery/rechargeable battery,
e.g. under the trash icons on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point in your local
community, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
