e) Switching on Transmitter
• Pull the telescopic antenna out completely.
If you only want to do a function test together with the vehicle, the antenna can stay pushed in. However,
the range drops to only a couple of meters!
• Slide the on/off switch (
A
) on the top of the transmitter toward the direction of the antenna. The 3 LEDs (
J
) on the
transmitter should light up if the batteries/rechargeable batteries are full.
If none of the LEDs light up, control the condition of the batteries/rechargeable batteries or whether the
batteries/rechargeable batteries where inserted correctly (note polarity, plus/+ and minus/-).
f) Connecting Battery with Cruise Control/Receiver
• Put the On/Off switch (
1
) of the cruise control/receiver into the position “OFF“.
• Connect the two plugs (
2
) and (
3
) with each other until the plug clicks into place. Pay attention to the correct polarity
(plus/+ = red cable, minus/- = black cable).
g) Mounting the Car Body
• Various car bodies are available as accessories. However, the holes for attachment and the antenna are normally
not pre-drilled, because the car bodies can be used for many different types of vehicles.
• We recommend first drilling a small hole in the position of the car body and checking this position. Then you can
adapt the hole position, e.g. with a round file.
• Guide the antenna from the inside to the corresponding opening of the car body.
• Put the car body onto the supports and secure them each with respective metal clips.
