3. Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void for damage arising from non-compliance with these operating instructions. Liability for any and all
consequential damage is excluded!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by improper use or the failure to observe the
safety instructions! Any claim to warranty will lapse in such cases!
For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted!
Handling aeroplane models should always be responsibly supervised by adults. Recharging procedures and battery changing should also be car-
ried out by adults only.
When starting up operation, switch on first the transmitter system and then the receiver system in the model. Ensure, even before switching on the
receiver, that the transmitter is operating and that the slide switch for the electric engine is in the “engine off” position. When switching it off, first
switch off the model and then the transmitter.
Ensure when operating your model that you do not endanger persons, animals or other objects.
If other model sportspeople are operating their models in this area, co-ordinate the frequency allocation with them to avoid double channel occupa-
tion. Because as soon as two transmitters are operated with the same channel, the respective model can no longer be controlled.
Check the functionality of your model before each start. Alongside the remote control components, it is important above all to test the linkage of the
side rudders.
Always pull out the transmitter aerial completely and do not aim it directly at your model as this could impair the transmission of the radio signals.
Always keep sufficient distance to high-voltage line and radio transmitter systems during flight operation as these facilities can impair the reception
quality of your remote control appreciably.
Do not direct your model towards spectators or towards yourself.
In case of a fault or a malfunction, correct the fault first then re-start the model.
If you are not clear about the correct assembly or commissioning or if questions crop up which are not covered by the operating instruc-
tions, please contact our technical support or another specialist.
Our tip:
Contact a local model aeroplane club so that an experienced model aeroplane pilot can check the construction of your model and carry out the ini-
tial flight.
Please observe the correct polarity, when installing batteries or rechargeable batteries into the unit.
Leaking or damaged batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be reused, as they can
chemical burns when coming into contact with the skin.
Make sure that batteries or rechargeable batteries are not short-circuited, thrown into a fire and
recharged. They might explode!
If the model is not used for a longer period of time, the batteries or rechargeable batteris must be removed from the battery compartment of the
remote control. The model and remote control should also always be switched off and kept safely after flying.
