I.
ANTES DA PRIMEIRA UTILIZAÇÃO
Retire cuidadosamente o aparelho e as suas partes destacáveis da embalagem. Remo-
ver todos os materiais de embalagem e autocolantes, excepto o autocolante de iden-
tificação do número de série.
Manter todas as etiquetas de aviso, Autocolantes de aviso (se existirem) e etiquetas de
identificação do número de série localizadas na caixa.
Após o transporte ou armazenamento do aparelho a baixa temperatura mantê-lo à
temperatura ambiente durante pelo menos duas horas antes de ligar.
Limpe a base do aparelho com um pano húmido e deixe-o secar. Você pode notar cheiro
estranho ao usar o aparelho pela primeira vez. Isto não significa o seu mau funcionamento.
É aconselhado a ferver água na chaleira algumas vezes antes da primeira utilização
para tirar o cheiro estranho e desinfectar o aparelho
II. FUNCIONAMENTO DO APARELHO
1. Colocar a chaleira e a base numa superfície horizontal dura, plana, seca. Ao instalar,
certifique-se de que o vapor que escapa da ebulição não cai sobre papel de parede,
revestimentos decorativos, dispositivos eletrônicos e outros objetos que podem
ser afetados pela alta umidade e temperatura.
2. Desembrulhar o cabo até ao comprimento desejado. Coloque a parte em excesso
no recesso na parte inferior da base. Se necessário, utilizar um cabo de extensão
de potência adequada (pelo menos 2,5 kW).
3. Remova a chaleira da base. Pressione o botão para abrir a tampa.
4. Despeje água na chaleira. O nível da água deve situar-se entre MIN 0,5 L e MAX
1,5 L. No máximo, se encher a chaleira com água acima da marca máxima, a água
em ebulição pode ser pulverizada. Se houver pouca água, o aparelho pode desligar
prematuramente.
ATENÇÃO! O aparelho destina-se apenas a aquecer e a ferver água.
5. Feche bem a tampa da chaleira e coloque-a na base. O aparelho só funcionará
se estiver instalado correctamente.
6. Liga o aparelho. Carrega no botão. O indicador vem e o processo de aquecimento
de água vai começar. Depois de ferver a água, o aparelho vai desligar
automaticamente.
7. Para interromper o processo de aquecimento de água, coloque o interruptor na
posição superior.
ATENÇÃO!
Se você remover a chaleira do suporte durante o aquecimento, o interruptor
permanecerá na posição on. Se você, em seguida, colocar a chaleira na base, o processo
de aquecimento de água vai continuar. Ao remover a chaleira da base, desligue-a sempre,
colocando o interruptor na posição superior.
8.
No final da operação, desligar o aparelho da tomada.
Sistema de segurança
• A chaleira está equipada com um sistema de interrupção automática após ferver
água.

Se não houver água na chaleira elétrica ou não o suficiente dela, a proteção
automática sobreaquecimento funcionará e desligará a potência da chaleira. Espere
que o aparelho arrefeça, então estará pronto para uso.
III.
LIMPEZA E MAUTENÇÃO
Limpe regularmente o invólucro da chaleira e limpe a base com um pano húmido.
Deixe a chaleira e a base da chaleira secar cuidadosamente antes de utilizar.
CUIDADO! Antes de limpar a chaleira ou a base da chaleira, desligar o aparelho, drenar
água e deixar a unidade arrefecer.
Não mergulhar a base do aparelho em água ou manter em água corrente!
Não utilizar tecidos grosseiros ou esponjas, pastas abrasivas para limpeza. Também não
se recomenda a utilização de quaisquer substâncias quimicamente agressivas ou outras,
não se recomenda a utilização com produtos que entrem em contacto com os alimentos.
Descalcificacao
Enquanto na escala de operação depósitos podem formar-se tanto sobre o elemento
de aquecimento e as paredes interiores do aparelho, dependendo do tipo de água a ser
utilizado. Utilizar produtos de limpeza especiais não abrasivos para utensílios e apare-
lhos de cozinha.
1. Deixe a chaleira arrefecer antes de limpar.
2. Siga as instruções de limpeza e aplicação do produto.
3. Lavar cuidadosamente a chaleira com água após a limpeza.
4. Limpe o aparelho com um pano húmido.
CUIDADO!
Antes de utilizar, certifique-se de que os contactos eléctricos do aparelho
estão secos.
