To CLOSE, press Secure-Latch into place making sure the latch on the underside is properly 

placed in the Secure-Latch groove attached to the main housing body. Push into the locked  

position. Double check to make sure it is firmly locked into place.

INSTALLING CAMERA

CAUTION!

 Before using, please be sure the test the housing (without camera) in bucket or 

aquarium  if available. After use in salt water, rinse thoroughly in a bucket of fresh water 

without   fail,   pressing   all   buttons   several   times   to   flush   out   salt   deposits   and   other 

contaminants. Allowing saltwater and contaminants to dry on housing can damage functions 

and O-Ring. Clean with fresh water only, using a soft, dry cloth to wipe away water.

 

Always perform proper O-ring maintenance.

 

Conduct the following operations in a clean area with low humidity and dust.

1. Make sure the housing  Mode Dial is pulled up and outward  away from housing, and 

camera strobe (flash) is closed. If these steps are not taken, the camera may not seat  

properly into housing and may cause dials, levers and buttons not to function as intended.

NOTE:  

Strobe Up Switch Dial preset as describe above is also recommended.

2. Check   camera   settings,   battery   is   charged   and   media   storage   capacity   is   sufficient. 

Slowly and carefully install camera making sure camera does not to hit housing's internal 

controls. If the camera is not installed correctly, buttons, dials, and levers may not work 

properly.

3. After performing O-Ring Maintenance, carefully close back cover making sure nothing is 

caught   between   the   Secure-Latch   and   housing.   Push   Secure-Latch   into   the   locked 

position making sure the Lock Lever is also in the locked position. Double check to make 

sure the Secure-Latch is securely locked into place.

IMPORTANT! 

Perform pre-dive check by immersing housing several times, starting with short 

intervals, gradually lengthening time, checking for water leakage after each interval. When 

entering water use a method of water entry that protects the housing from shock, which can 

cause water leakage. If at all possible have housing handed to you after entering the water.

 

REMOVING CAMERA

CAUTION!

  After use in water, water will remain along the seams between housing, back 

cover and Secure-Latch. Wipe any water off housing with a soft dry towel to prevent water 

from falling into housing and onto camera.

1. Pull  Mode Dial upward away from housing.

2. Press Lock Lever while pulling Secure-Latch away from housing main body and open 

back cover.

3. Tip housing backwards, gently sliding camera out of housing into hand.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

The Port Lens is manufactured using hard coat acrylic. When cleaning use a clean soft cloth 

taking care not to scratch it.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STROBE

The housing  Accessory Shoe  can  be  used  for installation  of  a target  light.  Please  be 

mindful of the weight of the light(s) you intend to use. For heavy lights and strobes please 

use optional Grip & Tray Assembly and compatible connector. Please refrain from using 

lights   attached   to   the   Accessory   Shoe   as   a   carrying   handle.
