Switch on the laser guide only when the power tool is on the workpiece.
Switch on the laser guide by pressing the laser guide switch (4). To switch off the laser
guide, press the switch again.
1. Make sure the cutting line runs through the workpiece.
2. Set the desired cut angle.
3. Connect the power tool to the power supply socket and switch it on by pressing the
ON/OFF switch.
4. Once the power tool reaches full speed (after about 2 seconds), rest the base plate on
the workpiece.
5. Set the laser guide on the cutting line marked on the workpiece and slowly move the
jigsaw forward making sure that the laser guide moves along the marked cutting line.
6. After finishing the cutting, switch off the laser guide and power tool and disconnect it
from power supply.
METAL CUTTING
• When cutting metal objects, ALWAYS secure them.• Exercise special caution when
moving the power tool forward. Use lower speed. Do not turn, bend or force the blade.
•
Use a suitable coolant/cutting oil when cutting metal. Apply lubricant on the blade or the
workpiece regularly to decrease the temperature of the blade.
•
If during cutting, the jigsaw makes sudden movements, use the blade with smaller teeth.
•
If during cutting soft metal, the blade jams with its filings, use the blade with bigger
teeth.
•
In order to facilitate metal cutting, lubricate the blade with a wax crayon or oil for saws.
•
It is recommended to place a thin metal in between two pieces of wood or fix it to one
piece of wood (wood is up on the metal). Mark the cutting line on the upper piece of
wood.
•
When cutting aluminum, for example profiles, clamp the workpiece in a vice and cut
close to the vice.
•
When cutting pipes with the diameter greater than the blade length, make a cut in the
pipe wall, then insert the blade into that cut and proceed with the cutting rotating the
pipe.
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the power tool and disconnect
it from power supply socket.
Clean the casing regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that
the ventilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Clean the blade (remember about the
blade shaft) with a brush or compressed air. Remove very persistent dirt using a soft cloth
moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc.
Chemicals such as these will damage the synthetic components.
