The SPX SmartPilot normally provides power to the SeaTalk

system but you may
decide to power the SeaTalk

system separately.

In installations where the SeaTalk

backbone is powered separately, or, if you are
running an NMEA 2000-compliant system, the SeaTalk
ng
switch above the SeaTalk
ng
terminal on the SPX SmartPilot must be moved to the OFF position
