The displayed range can be adjusted at anytime using the
Plus

Minus
buttons.
Range rings can be switched off from the Presentation tab:

Settings > Presentation > Range rings:
You can also choose whether to display a numerical range indicator
against each ring using the
Range ring labels:
option.
8.6 Guard zone alarm
The guard zone alerts you if radar returns (objects) are detected within
the specified guard zone area.
The guard zone can be configured from the Guard zone menu:

The guard zone can be configured as a sector or as a circle around
your vessel.
