8 MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION

The V-belt is tensioned by a counterweight. If the V-belt is not sufficiently tensioned, it must be re-tensioned. If
there are any tears or the V-belt is damaged, it must be replaced.
There is an inspection opening on the machine.
• Remove the screws, remove the safety cover.
• Check the V-belt for damage
• Reassemble the safety cover

Lubricate these fittings every week.
Lift arm Gimbal.
Front Pivot Arm.
Castor wheel mounting pivot.
Cutting Implement Rear roller
Flail rotor bearing housing.
The bearings and pivot points must be lubricated regularly with Shell Gadus S2 or equivalent.
Lubricate only with 1-2 strokes with the grease gun according to the maintenance chart or after
heavy use.
